When you people take your shoes to the cobblers to get resoled, do you mask up the upper leathers so that the cobbler doesn't damage them or mark them up when doing edge dressing ?
They are not UK size 9. They are Size 8.5UK. Its a "G" fit on no.81 lasts.
I have many Churchs shoes with same writing format.
In US the UK8.5 is a size 9.
Is anyone able to tell me the cost of soles in UK. Not fitting but just to supply. I've tried Amazon, eBay and googling but just cant find a supplier with prices.
Has to be full sole/heel for regular leather, JR's and Dainite.

I have a pair a light tan Loake Burfords which i dropped some droplets of water onto it to test them and it penetrated the leather but it didn't leave water marks when it dried.

I have a pair of light tan brogues. Do i need to use Saphir Renovateur to moisturise or can i get away with just using cream polish as a moisturiser ?
I dont want the colour to darken with Renovateur and I don't want to buy additional products like Bick4.
I bought a pair of Ted Bakers grey virgin wool trousers from eBay which normally retails for £150/$200. They came unhemmed and in a straight fit with 10 inch opening. They are very baggy and long.
