    I’ve got the same pair in 7.5 up on Eb@y. Surprised by your fit experience- I think it just speaks to how idiosyncratic this all is. I’m an 8 in all other lasts and the 7.5 was the right size. The instep is just too low for my foot.

    Another perspective: as an E/EE, I can’t wear the 2050. DR talked me into trying a pair saying that the 2050 will accommodate over time. It didn’t. I had to get them relasted by Role Club.

    I couldn’t make it work even going up a half size. I honestly found the 2050 to be more forgiving.

    I used to have kangaroo virgils in a 9 that I sold because they were snug (more due to width). I’m a Viberg 8. That’s just one anecdote; it’s risky to opt for the smaller side of Division Road’s recommendations, so getting your Brannock measured is good advice.

    That was the boot that started it all for me- grabbed a pair from imogene + willie in Nashville in 2014ish, and have yet to find a more comfortable boot.
