Can box pleats on the backs of shirts be removed or otherwise altered? Or sewn down?

Can anyone recommend some boots like Clarks with a narrower fit overall, especially in the heel? A leather sole would be a plus as well. And under $200! Can Chuck Taylors be comfortable shoes?
My problem with them is that my heel rubs, and eventually it wears away the canvas lining in the heel. Then a tacky plastic liner is exposed, and makes holes in my socks. It isn't a sizing issue. I can't go down a size anyway. I wear size 9.5 because my toes hit the end of a size 9 when I walk...- twblalock

Where to get casual made to measure clothing online
I have had enough weird size inconsistency and variance with the standard RTW Lands' End clothing to be very wary of going near the MTM stuff. At least the warranty is good. Well, unless the 32 fits your seat and thighs better. If that is the case, you should take the 32 in. Pick the pants that fit the best there and then adjust the waist to match your own.
