Polish goat skin shoes
I have a pair of goat skin boots, the leather is really nice and supple but when I polish and brush them, the polish flakes off after a while so when touching the shoes black flakes stick to my hand. Perhaps they're not as absorbent as my other shoes? Could anyone offer any advice? Tom.- tommib

Mens fashion magazine that doesn't suck?
I really don't enjoy Esquire, GQ, Arena, I think they're basically soft Appreciation, pseudo journalism, one or two fashion bits and the rest expensive (and tacky) watches, gadgets, cars etc. My bro gets a magazine called 10, it's quarterly and there's a mens and womens version, some of the photos are...- tommib

Quality of Lanvin Shoes?
I was looking at Gucci shoes the other week, they're really bad quality, not worth half the price. The Lanvin ones I've seen in Harrods and Selfridges etc. seem like quite good quality. Tom.- tommib

Tailoring pants down to slim
Depends how skinny you are but you might ask for the fork to be taken in to make them tighter around your backside. I had a pair of smart trousers slimmed down, they look amazing but two things I would do slightly differently: Make sure the outseam is taken in from around the thigh, but not up...- tommib
