    what’s everyone’s most memorable meal/restaurant of 2021? luce - casual italian food executed at a very high level. itching to go back and order all the contornis and antipasta republica - if this arrived 5 years ago, this would be my choice but it feels like something i can find in OC/LA/SD.

    Haha I brought friends to Proud Mary, and we ordered everything. Most were hits, but the Smoked Salmon and Potato Hash are hard passes. I'll have to hit up OK Omens soon & Castagna one day.

    finally got around to trying han oak and came away impressed. the key is to go in with the mindset that dude is trying to serve korean food to a white audience. are there better korean places in the portland area? sure, but han oak can hold it down.

    Went to langbaan recently. The food was good, but I don' think it was $75 good. I'd pay $50, tops. Add Heart Pizza to the long list of great pizza joints.
