    Brooks Brothers' Gatsby Collection

I had the same thoughts after seeing the tuxedo online, but I had my 40% off one item coupon (which expires on the 17th) and have been planning to get a tuxedo in the near future, so I stopped by the store to check it out. After talking with the tailor, I am having the center vent closed as part...

    Varvatos Shoes

I agree that $400 seems high for JV shoes. I think you can do better if you keep looking. A lot of companies are doing chukka boots in the $250 - $300 range. Check out Zappos, they even have some cheaper JV's listed. http://www.zappos.com/shoes-chukka~8

no buttons on jil sander suit sleeves

Get to a good tailor and have the sleeves fitted. They should then be able to add buttons. You can get functioning button holes as well since you're starting from scratch.

As I drink a lot of club soda, you got me thinking so I did a quick search and it looks like no. http://www.chow.com/food-news/54004/...r-bad-for-you/

    Cardigan Sweater with Elbow Patches

Cucinelli has done a lot with elbow patches on sweaters and sport coats. Certainly not cheap, but they typically pull it off well.

    Best way to increase stamina/endurance?

One day a week add either sprint intervals or if you have the option hill runs. On the weekend, do a longer run than usual (i.e. if you're running 3 miles on average, add a five mile run on the weekend and you can increase the distance on this day to whatever makes you comfortable). That...

    How are Cole Haan shoes?

While I didn't buy any, I did check out the Cole Rood & Haan series recently. They appear to be better made and use better quality than the typical Cole Haan shoes. I wanted to see what their "archive" offerings were like and they're not bad. Of course they have a price to match...

Are Bluefly and Yoox really that "cheap"?

As one who has shopped both sites, I agree with sjmin209. Bluefly used to be a great site for deals, not so anymore. I haven't purchased from it in a few years. Yoox on the other hand is a site I still purchase from regularly.

    Cheap durable boat shoes

Another good option for stores is Nordstrom Rack if you have one in your area. Every Rack I've been in has a lot of Sperry in your price range. I've picked up a classic pair and a chukka.

    peacoats single double breasted

Single breasted is really more of a car coat in wool. Look for that instead of a pea coat and you should have more luck.

    Shoes in Winter

I say go with option 2 and look at these. http://www.lechameauusa.com/hunting/vierzonnordplus. You also have the option on nasty days to tuck in your pants and save those from salt etc...
