    Another guy needs another suit

Went with Cavour. I'm not great at fit pics but if ya'll have any suggestions on alterations please feel free to comment. I adjusted the shadows ad contrast so ya'll could see the way it drapes a little better.

Gotcha. It'll be just outside NYC, first weekend in July. I'm from the deep south so lighter weight is never a bad thing. Why might you favor the Cavour over the S&M were all else equal?

Nice! Thank you. I'd never heard of Cavour, really like the look of the one you linked to.

    Another guy needs another suit

So I need a suit ready 2 months from now, would have liked to have enough time to do MTM but imagine that's not worth the risk. Found out just yesterday it needs to be navy blue, no further instructions, and I'm doubtful there's much more my friend could answer. He made it sound like the dress...

Best Money for Value Boat Shoes?

I’m an 8.5 (US) in most shoes, which makes me an 8 in loafers/deck shoes - I actually bought these last year when on sale in a 42 - I’m retiring that pair to beater duty and getting these in a 41 this time. They don’t seem to offer these shoes in half size increments.

Wondering if the X around the waist is a bit too much and what should it could be done about it. Hope the pic is detailed enough to see what I’m referring to.

Berwick 1707 Snuff Suede Tassel Loafers

Sure! I will try to answer as best I can having never fitted myself in some Alden’s and not having owned a pair of Nike’s in over a decade. I know that my Thorogood boots (American Heritage, is I believe the model is) were an 8 and fit probably better than any pair of boots I’ve had. I wore a...

Berwick 1707 Snuff Suede Tassel Loafers

So my dumb ass was so excited to receive these that I forgot to try them out on a soft surface and they picked up some mild scuffs from my hardwood floor before I decided they should be returned for a smaller item. Anyway, here they are. While a size 7 UK, I recommend one be at least a 9.5 US...
