• CALLING ON HOME SEWERS TO HELP HEALTHCARE WORKERS FIGHTING COVID-19

The lack of proper masks, gowns, and eyewear equipment is making it difficult for health workers to do their work fighting the novel coronavirus. In a recent New York Times article, medical workers said they were worried about how they can both fight the coronavirus without imperiling themselves, as well as their loved ones when they go back home.

If you are a home sewer, please consider helping my joining Hickey Freman Technical Vice President Jeffery Diduch in his effort to produce and deliver homemade gowns and masks to medical professionals in the greater Rochester, New York Area. Read about how you can help here

    Shoe care questions

Thanks a lot for the replies. I think i'll then order normal cedar shoe trees for the boots, and also some wax - which I probably will use very sparingly, if at all.

    Shoe care questions

    Shoes for walking

Hello all, I recently replaced my summer shoes: from a pair of sneakers to AE el Paso's. Although I really like my new shoes, I have a serious problem with them. I tend to travel a lot and this usually also includes a fair amount of walking. Now although the el paso's are extremely...

    Uncommon problem with trousers

Thanks for your responses. I will definitely try out the milano cut when I buy my next pair of trousers - which will be soon since I had a pair tear yesterday! I have also thought about MTM, but it is strange to get MTM chinos or jeans, isn't it? I also was really thinking about getting myself...
