Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

Excellent. I've admired deer ever since seeing it used in a Real McCoys. I bet deer must be comfortable from day one.

Alden Modified Last: If You Wear, or are Interested, Please Read

I'm a 12D in the modified (dreamiest fit ever) and I personally sense no discrepancy between boot and shoe. Mind you, I've only ever tried one model of shoe and two models of boots.

    Elegant Thin Leather Belts?

But does Meermin come in 25mm? I agree with Breakaway; not much incentive in responding if your adding specifics after recommendations. You want a particular leather, raised, stitched on sides, no contrast stitching, what? Here's an one inch wide belt in black, your choice of buckle, right at...

    Drake’s Selvedge Denim Question

It's difficult to guage what you're asking. When you say form to fit what do you mean? I think there are two ways to understand form to fit. One, when the denim will stretch in certain areas to fit you better. Two, the jeans, like any garment will mould to your body in the same way that, for...

Looking for a classic polo without a logo

You know lacoste gator appliques are nothing like rl ponies? The gator comes of with ease. I've done it. It's nothing and no marking is left behind.

Speaking of which, have they completely done away with taper leg trousers?

    John Smedley Appreciation Thread

My understanding (and experience) has been that Easy fit is just fuller around the midsection. I certainly haven't noticed any more room in the biceps and armhole and chest area.

One store to rule them all...

Occonnel's is pretty awesome. Peccary gloves, Begg scarves, Schott jackets, a whole lot of Scottish knitwear, Quoddy, Alden.... they check alot of boxes. It's a jungle in that store, spent many hours in there. NMWA is an easy choice. Both Frans Boone and Baltzar are easy choices. But all...

    The Official Stoffa Thread

Interesting. I consider a 10" front rise to be low-rise and imagined that to be anathema to Stoffa's style.

Lightweight raw denim jeans / high waisted & straight fit

All your criteria can be met with LVC, now using Japanese denim. While you specify raw denim, you do not, however specify if you want that denim 12oz pre-shrink or post-shrink. 12oz pre-shrink isn't going to be 12oz post-shrink.

Equus Leather - English Handstitched Bridle Leather Belts - Official Affiliate and Review Thread

Oh ok. There was a maker in the UK named Terry Dear of Celtic Leathercrafts who made belts, though not so sure he does anymore. Anyway, this guy used to skiv the fold and secure the belt in the fold so snug (and then stitched) that you could barely notice any bulk at that part of the belt...

Equus Leather - English Handstitched Bridle Leather Belts - Official Affiliate and Review Thread

Equus didn't skiv the belts at the buckle fold? Jeez.... their bridle was, what, 4mm thick? Skiving the fold should be de rigueur for any belt.

Equus Leather - English Handstitched Bridle Leather Belts - Official Affiliate and Review Thread

Ignorant as I am to business and supply and wholesale bulk purchasing, I am curious though. Just taking the belts as an example. Charlie was the main leather crafter, so no possibility of arguing that the leather worker(s) who made up Equus left or could not be paid. And while I know belt-making...

I'm a size 12D in Hampton, modified, and Barrie, with modified being a splendid fit, Hampton being very good and Barrie being a bit imperfect but doable. Any idea what I can assume to be my size for a loafer, specifically Aberdeen?
