    Poor man's watch thread

    I would be curious to see if that is truly removable. If so, perhaps it could be replaced with either a blank plate or something custom like one's initials. But I do agree, it is a needless addition that will dissuade many.

    As a father to an 18 month old with another one due this August, I would certainly recommend leaving it on the bracelet. Its doubtful the bracelet would cause any issue, and frankly its much, much easier to clean. You'd be surprised how much various 'stuff' can end up running down the wrist, so...
