ALLEN EDMONDS APPRECIATION THREAD EDITION 2O22

Thanks to all on the response to my AE Leeds sizing questions. I have a pair of Pembrokes so that is a useful reference. My guess of UK9E = US 9.5D seems slightly off. A US9.5E or even a US10D both seem like a better bet. I am going to have to bite the bullet and buy a pair.

ALLEN EDMONDS APPRECIATION THREAD EDITION 2O22

Thanks for taking the time. Was worried that D my be a little narrow and you confirm that. Your experience suggests that the US D fitting is a bit narrower than the UK E. Maybe I should go for a US E, given that shell isn't very stretchy or forgiving.

ALLEN EDMONDS APPRECIATION THREAD EDITION 2O22

Hi all Sorry for the rather dull request...sizing advice. I have read what I can but there is nothing better that getting the opinion of someone who might have some shoes in common with me. Firstly I am in the UK and nearly all my shoes and boots come from Northampton. I am looking to buy US...

MTO just back. Glad I didn't go for the commando soles. Get your name down for these [size 9].

I often think the same thing myself. My daughter may suit a 34mm or 36mm watch, but she would look daft in dad's old size 9 bovver boots. Anyway, hopefully be a good while yet. Especially as I am getting jabbed on Saturday!

You are so right. It is more down to whether I suit the shoes, rather than whether they suit me.

Size 9 cordo. Thumb still horizontal. I like them a lot but don't really get much wear.

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

Uniqlo! Was not expecting that. Very wise for sidestepping a denim obsession. I gave up on Levi's a few years back as they didn't seem to last 5 minutes (especially the pockets) any more. Heavyweight Edwin was a big upgrade but I could do with some that cost £35. Good stuff.

So many boots. Surely one lifetime is not enough time to break them all in. I have had a huge cull over lockdown to force me to think what I really like. Limited myself to 12 pairs of shoes/boots and 6 watches. Problem is, it has filled up a Paypal account with wonga, which I now want to spend...

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

Very nice boots. But may I ask, what's the denim? It's selling the boots well. I'm stuck in a rut with my Edwin selvedge, which is nice, but I could do with a change.

Now I don't normally send pictures of old shoes (unless they are new for the 'show & tell'), but I have given the new Allans a day off and the subject has shifted to C-shade. I love C-shade. It is fairly agricultural but I think it is quintessentially Trickers. It is thick and quality, and as...

Offical TRICKERS shoes and boots thread

Thanks Crafty. On the strength of your recent colour help I went and bought myself some Gold MC Allans. Have not bought Trickers for a while as I had some QC issues from the outlet. These, however, are amazing. The leather is full thickness, soft and a very nicely finished. Been wearing everyday...

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

Your picture inspired me to buy some. But... No size 9 in stock for Rosewood 64! Looked elsewhere but no luck. Found some in Europe but the new VAT rules kill that. EG is quite expensive enough already thank you.
