    The sequel is set in 2008 during the run-up to the financial meltdown with Gekko emerging from two decades behind bars. Two decades behind bars? Did Gekko kill Bud Fox? That must have been in the deleted scenes.

    The thing I notice is if the setting doesn't match. In The Firm, the Tom Cruise character graduates from law school and moves to Memphis. In real life, graduation would happen in May or June usually. As they pull up to their new house in Memphis, there are leaves in the street. Looks more like...
