I mean at this point I agree with some of the previous comments in this thread. It seems they’re chasing a wealthy clientele like Drakes or Saman Amel or the Armoury where 300 vs 400+ for some chinos don’t make a difference to a person. If they can still sell them at 400+, I’m happy for them...- sargeinaz

High waisted chinos?
Honestly I like my Jcrew classic chinos I’ve bought recently. 100% cotton and an 11 to 11.5 inch rise on a size 30 (waist runs large. They measure about 32 inches in the waist on a size 30) with a 12.75-13 inch thigh. I agree they’re more a mid rise than true high rise, but for the price and...- sargeinaz

Ya the more I read that response email, the more I dislike it. This sounds like collective punishment or something. Why should some countries pay more to even out other countries? Crockett & Jones - Whats the big deal?
Buy from Bodileys. I think that saves some money. They’re based in the UK. Alden’s cost even more now. And I love Alden, but Crockett is a better shoe now that the prices are where they’re at between the brands.- sargeinaz
