    Falling Euro and GB Pound

With the Euro now below parity with the US dollar and the Great British Pound down 20% this year, does anyone know when we can expect the prices of our favorite European and British clothing to reflect the lower exchange rates? A review of several websites shows no change in pricing. I'm sure...

Saphir Medaille D'Or - that awful odor!

I gave myself a Christmas present and bought a complete line of Saphir Medaille D'Or shoe creams plus suede cleaners and gave myself the pleasure of using them for the first time this evening. My god they smell like a toxic waste dump! Yes, the shine on my shoes looks great and the suede shoes...

I can take some detail shots. What details would you like to see, in particular?

    Den.mbar custom jeans review

I spend most of the time on the "other side" of SF, but recently I needed new jeans and decided to go the raw Denim route, having seen the devoted fans on SF and SUFU. My first pair was some Nudie raw in black denim. They mostly fit well, but I decided the rise was too low and can be...

Self Edge SF/NY/LA/PDX/MX - Japanese Denim & Leather, Top Notch Basics, Very Nice Jewelry + Eyewear, & More

I fully recognize that the following comment is childish and unworthy of the fine denim sold from this awesome establishment, but unhappy looking or not, that Asian girl is f***ing hot.

    Billy Reid USA-made Denim

I don't know if you can say, but I presume these jeans were made by Rogue Territory to your specs?

    Are these shoes salvageable?

They won't look like new, but you can do a lot to make them look decent again. If you didn't pay much for the shoes, it's likely worth it.

Photos of my Tom Ford RTW Suit

I am very pleased to see that Tom Ford's customer service was accomodating. I personally like what Tom Ford is doing, even if it isn't for everyone (on this forum or otherwise). I hope your beespoke experience goes well. I hope you'll keep us updated on how that goes. -Rob

Please critique my first WW Chan bespoke shirt

Are the pants in the picture the ones with the "perfect fit"? If so, we define perfect fit differently. They look too long and baggy to my eye, though that may be because they have slumped down a little and would look better pulled up higher on your waist.

John Lobb vs Crockett & Jones vs Edward Green

I own none of the three, so takethis for what it's worth... Based on pictures posted on this very forum, I have seen shoes from all brands look pretty creased and worn. In fact, some of the worse creasing I have seen was on a Gaziano & Girling, so the shoe could not have been more than a year...

I tried on Thom Browne -- not so bad

This tread may be past its prime, but I just have to say that the TB silhouette is completely awful. When is TB going to get beyond his school boy pedophilla phase and start designing suits for men who want to look like men?

Photos of my Tom Ford RTW Suit

I am going to go against the grain and say that in the close up pictures, the suit looks quite good to me. I think posting pictures on here often leads to all kinds of attacks because minor things stand out in still-life, digital flash photography that nobody would ever notice in real life. Real...

How Many days a week can I wear a navy blazer?

I wear mine 2-3 days per week. I get away with that because I take my sportcoat off as soon as I get into the office and rarely put it on again until I am ready to go home. I doubt hardly anyone notices.

Things you SHOULD or shouldn't spend extra money on

Nobody has mentioned dress pants, so I think I will. Pants are underrated in my view. They have a huge influence on your silhouette. I think they can be more important than suite\\ jackets and shirts. I rarely wear my suit jacket or sport coat around the office. And once one finds shirts the fit...
