The (hopefully) definitive thread on NYC tailors

Hemming and cuffing pants is not a complicated job in my experience. I have had any number of good pants done by my local dry cleaners with no issues. Brooklyn is a big place. There is Ercole's that will do a good job if you would rather go to a "real" tailor

    The Italian Travel Thread

For us it is mainly about avoiding the delay and hassle of checking in baggage and especially, baggage claim. I am not especially militant about it, and have gone from on many trips with lots of large cases aplenty but if i can avoid that, i’d like to.

SOLD NWT MONCLER AFFTON Down Parka Jacket Coat SZ 4/L

I bought this from Neiman Marcus but never wore it. Retail was over $2000. This is a very warm yet light three-quarter length winter parka. Perfect for the cold days of winter. Please know your Moncler size before buying. This is a size 4 which comes out approximately to a size large IMO.

    Eidos Napoli

I’ve been to a number of these. I find that the prices are usually OK but not great (you can usually do better on eBay or B&S). I find the pricing to have been better on accessories like ties, scarves and shoes then on tailoring and outerwear. Having said that, I have to be plenty of the bags...
