No, AFAIK summer tweed is MTM & MTO only, no OTR.

Seconded. Would greatly appreciate some sizing advice for the boots.

Does anyone here have experience with last seasons polo coats and this years? I’m thinking about grabbing another one (I have the navy from last year) but want to know how they fit. The official word from Spier last year was to go with your normal jacket size, which I did. I LOVE it, but, I find...

@MrAmbrose Money has been tight this fall for me so I had to limit myself to 1 jacket purchase for the season (and coincidentally my birthday). I have zero regrets getting the emerald. I haven’t had a chance to wear it out yet as it still needs to take a trip to the tailor first.

Honest opinion? That looks too small. I would opt for a 38 instead of 36. Sleeves and jacket length both look a touch short. *EDIT* Im also not sure what the point of picture #2 is. Do you expect to ever stand around like that? All it does is emphasize how small the jacket is.

Yes. @Burzan is one of the lucky few who can wear OTR without adjustments.

Well would you look at that. Just got a shipping notice for the emerald herringbone! Picked it up when it dropped expecting the Sept 20th ship date would translate into the jacket arriving right around my birthday. Guess I’ll have an early B-Day gift to open!:D

Definitely the lightweight chinos. The color of the regular olive chinos from a few seasons ago was touch lighter.

Been really good with money lately knowing I would be tempted by all the fall offerings. Insta-bought the emerald herringbone! It's exactly what I've been looking for and reminds me of the Eidos jacket @mossrockss has.

I think you made the right choice. The polo coats were by far my favorite thing to come out of S&M last F/W. If I could do it all over again I would go up 1 size from my normal. Wearing most of my jackets underneath mine can be a bit snug and with some of my bulkier ones I can’t even get my arms...

Does this mean some fall drops may come early?

That’s unfortunate to hear. I have a few and loved them to death. On the subject of possible polo colors I’ll throw my vote in for a pale yellow and a sage green as well.

My vote is to return for a contemporary in the same size and to take in the extra fabric where it’s needed. The jacket doesn’t look long on you at all and I think dropping to an S would be a bad idea.
