Got to try the new export grade at the new shop in Jermyn street (very close to the old shop). They looked really good, specially the Trinity mahogany. The last is very elegant compared to their other lasts. Sadly they did not fit me. I tried in my Capital size, but they were to tight...- ramlo

Wildsmith shoe brand resurrected
I can see that the Wildsmith shoes are more or less sold out already. But could anybody comment on the 216 last? I have never heard about it. Is it at renamed AS last, or their own last? Fitting at instep and width? Edit: Thought I was writing in the herring thread, but I guess the likelyhood...- ramlo

Meermin Mallorca Shoes
I own 101482 - black calf. Mye boots (jodphurs) are comfortable, so for me the instep is the only problem. Regarding comfort / quality in general, my view is that it will feel like a downgrade going from Loake 1880 to Mermin classic, but thats reflected in the price also i guess.- ramlo

Hi Third person seeking advice for 109 last. Interested in fitting abilities for width (pinky toe) and instep. I only own Hiro last (which i belive is the roomiest of the three Meermin lasts mentioned). Loake Capital last is definately roomier for me than Hiro. I have shoes and boots on both capital and Hiro. Capital in size 9 is still roomier in width and instep than Hiro in size 9,5 for me. I stopped...- ramlo

They fit similar. But I think inca is just a little bit roomier. For me, I got a slight heel slip in Inca.- ramlo
