Definitely a risk - depending on your risk tolerance, you might get S&M to send a swatch your way at your expense to confirm. I have a pair of mid-gray minnis fresco trousers from another vendor & had S&M make up an MTO jacket - absolutely no difference in shade- preid

I didn't buy the blue seersucker RTW....but picked it up when the Minnis fabrics were included in the MTO special a few months back (netted the MTO seersucker suit for the same price as the RTW with the discount). Fabric is hearty and definitely wears warmer than linen. It's a great sturdy...- preid

I heard chatter back earlier this spring there would not be a Summer outlet because 1) re-opening in the US has meant there's a chance it'll sell at full price & 2) COGS has gone up so much in the last 12 months it wouldn't be sustainable. LOVE the fabric. It wears a little warmer than pure linen but drapes & holds a crease very well. Well enough to not press them very often. They wear pretty tough, too. Solid 3 season wear depending on how windy it is.- preid

That's likely because the other brand ships via DHL Air Freight. To keep costing down - which has historically meant passing the cost savings on to us (the customers), Spier is likely using boat for transit.- preid

You gotta be mindful that global supply chains are AT BEST working on ~4 week delays. And that was before India took a turn for the worse. It's a huge PITA if you're buying for a specific date, but it's almost entirely out of the retailers hands. Best thing to do is buy early. And that's...- preid

That too. Shipping has been expensive both on the freight & delivery to consumer end. @nubirth they're a nice touch so you can brush dust/gunk/grime off the fabric to keep it from breaking down over time. it helps keep the crease at the bottom of the cuff from 'blowing out'- preid

Nothing noticeable in the sleeves? I’m same shirt size and usually wear a 38L. The short sleeve iterations are great fits but I’m worried about the sleeves on the LS. Is it long enough to still toss a jacket over and show some cuff?- preid
