    Suitsupply NYC

Thanks for the input, gents. I contacted the nearest Suitsupply store(three hours away) and they assure me their tailor can do a great job shortening the sleeves as much as I need. I will make a road trip this weekend and see if they’re right.

Because I am 6’3” tall with relatively short arms. Or, are you saying they make a 48L with shorter arms? That would be great!

    Suitsupply NYC

I have ordered my first Suitsupply suit. It’s a navy NapolI. The sleeves are almost a couple inches too long. My local tailor says taking the sleeves up from the shoulder “never” goes well and refuse to attempt it. I have a Suitsupply store 3.5 hours away. I’m thinking of making a road trip...

Getting the most out of my next suit purchase?

If you’re buying it just for the wedding, go with a light grey suit with a bluish cast. Go with light-weight wool to avoid wrinkling.

Strong user name to content factor in this post. I actually shook my head and thought to myself “user name checks out”. I’m still giggling over the concept of tea making and it’s relevance to shoe care. Lol

I agree. If I were going to wear that jacket as a sport coat, I’d definitely not wear the vest. Those two pieces together scream “orphaned suit jacket” to me.

Streaking on Allen Edmonds dress shoe

That’s character inherent in the leather. I have a pair of Bellevue boots like that. It doesn’t bother me on a casual boot. It would bother me on a dress shoe.
