    Briefcase Appreciation thread

A couple new models we've begun carrying in stock: The new Drue Portfolio: The Harrison Briefcase: We also finished a quite a few custom/MTO projects in the past few weeks. One was this Franklin Briefcase in Burgundy Bridle for @clee1982

This looks very very normal to me. If you're going to store it for a long time, it wouldn't hurt to put a pillow in it. Make sure the pillow isn't too large, or you'll stress the seams as @sclemmons mentioned. It should be just big enough to take some of gravity's burden off of the leather.

    Briefcase Appreciation thread

It's normal for leather to lose its rigidity over time - nothing to worry about. If you'd like some tips on re-shaping, you'll need to post photos of the bag so we can see exactly what's going on. There are a few refinishers in this thread that are pretty talented - but they'll need to see...

Practically: Understated is going to age better. If you're planning on keeping this a while, you'll grow tired of the orange much before you grow tired of the matching tone. It's a bit visually exhausting. If you have a collection of briefcases, or at least more than one (and don't mind...

Alligator/Croc print leather vs genuine alligator/croc

Yeah, that is real, and it's from an alligator. It's from the neck part of a really large alligator. No one would make a print of that part of the alligator.

Alligator/Croc print leather vs genuine alligator/croc

If that's a wallet, open it so we can see the full panel and post a picture. Looks like it's a large, low grade alligator.

The Definitive MANBAG Thread, Part II: 2014~

Just released a couple of less expensive options made with bridle leather to the new collection. These are fully lined, extensively hand stitched, and are around the $700usd mark. I don't believe that there's a better value in this part of the market at this time. Furthermore, you can...

The Definitive MANBAG Thread, Part II: 2014~

Not in the market, but out of curiosity, how did you like the functionality of the duffle backpack. I like the design.

    Briefcase Appreciation thread

Made this week for a proof of concept. Fully lined, full-bridle briefcase. Mysore accents. Full width pocket, pen pockets, card pocket and a small gusseted pocket on the interior. Wanting to make this available at a very reasonable price point. Trying for well under $1k. Wanting to push the...

We often make breifcases, and I have to second the remarks of sclemmons. Go with two gussets - he's correct on all accounts.

    What wallet do you use?

Thanks for the write up - have been curious about these. Seems like a really clever design.
