Sinnedk got in touch with the guys over at PNP and they recommended that I should just leave the shells alone. I am still looking to get something to condition...

    Thanks NN. I slap that Saphir on the other pairs without ovethinking. Been doing it for years. It is the mottled finish(black/red) on these that got me a feeling little leary. I got them for the finish and don't want them darkened in anyway.
