J Simons on Russell Street What do they have? By the sound of it alone, I'm interested because it's a name I haven't heard of before.

    moderately priced London shopping

I know there have been lots of threads on shopping in London, but I don't believe there have been any that have focused on this topic. I will be in London for a week at the end of August. I hope to have a chance to walk down Savile Row and Jermyn Street to see the best London has to offer in...

    Took a Trip to CEGO

The fit of the blue plaid shirt is very nice. Your right sleeve may be a slightly long or the cuff opening may be a little wide and you may want to consider reducing the waist a touch on your next order. That's about all I can see.

    Custom Made Suit in NYC

I have two suits by Mr. Ned. They make an American cut. On the second, I tried to deviate from that and based on the result, I think it best not to. I am not impressed with their workmanship. I also have a suit by Sanford Bryant. He makes a made to measure suit, so there is less opportunity...

    cleaning grease from leather

The good news is that I successfully carved the 20+ pound turkey in my house for Thanksgiving dinner. The bad news is that I got a couple of grease stains on my cognac colored leather shoes. Any suggestions on how to get the stains off would be appreciated.

    condition of ebay merchandise received

The sweater I won through an ebay auction on Sunday arrived at my house today. It was advertised as NWOT and, as far as I can tell, that seems accurate. However, the sweater reeks of cigarette smoke. It's not that big a deal; I am washing it now. But, should I say something to the seller or...

Is this tie too much for interviews?

Relax, the tie is fine. In fact, it looks good. You are overthinking this. Concentrate on your presentation instead; what distinguishes yourself and what you will bring to a firm. By the way, I am a partner in a law firm.

    zip neck sweater

I've been admiring the look of zip neck sweaters for a while and finally pulled the trigger on one. Now, I am wondering how to wear them. Do you wear them with a collared shirt underneath? Or with a contrasting long sleeved t-shirt? Or with the zipper pulled up so the sweater becomes a...

What spray-on Starch should I use??

I use Magic Sizing and have never had a problem. It says fabric finish on the can, and not starch. I don't know the difference, but I do know that when I tried Niagra starch, I had problems with flaking and spotting.

Upscale Marshalls & TJ Maxx locations?

The East Hanover, NJ Marshalls is top notch? That's funny because, other than a pair of Harris shoes I bought during the forum frenzy three years ago, I've never found anything there. Not that I go there that often, but it seems that all they have is the ususal crap. Then again, I don't have...
