You make some fair points. Personally I take everything to my tailor so that the fit is better than RTW off the rack. If I buy used online without being able to try it first, I request these measurements and then buy only if the sleeve and leg lengths need adjustment (bringing in the jacket waist is also pretty safe).- moltoelegante

Lightweight summer trousers
Totally agree. I find wool more comfortable and more elegant/beautiful than chinos in cooler weather, and topical wool or linen are more breathable in summer. Nor surprisingly I don't own chinos :)- moltoelegante

I was in Napoli a few month ago and met with a few tailors. Prices ranged from €1,500-€3,000 for a two-piece suit, fabric included. Turnaround time could range from 1-3 months. Best one-stop shop clothing brands/stores to build up a complete wardrobe of high quality classic menswear?
For that price range, I would be spending my money on bespoke suits which offer more choice, better fit and closer match to personal taste than any RTW brand. Savile Row tailors are over this budget but there are other excellent tailors who are in your price range. Some of them travel as well.- moltoelegante
