Agreed, office wear is minimized, these are broke out on the weekends and after work. A well lit coffee shop or tavern is a great place to get many glances, they definitely break the ice and command respect due to their "out of the box" presence.

Pairing these with denim is the best choice, simply because the green chukkas are excellent for a casual outing. They're also surprisingly nice with darker, heavy wool slacks - great time of year for that here in the Midwest!

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

I'll be placing and MTO soon on a pair of button boots, I'd like to supply my boot maker with the tweed that I'll be using on the upper. Any suggestions on quality tweed manufacturers that have many swatches to choose from?

**The Official Shoe Care Thread: Tutorials, Photos, etc.**

I have a new pair of Enzo Bonafé chukkas on the way and I’d like to commission someone to put a light custom patina on the boots, just to highlight some areas of the shoe. I don’t necessarily want a complete makeover, but something to make it appear not stock or plain. Any recommendations on...

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

Regarding type vs. quality I’m struggling with making a choice between a chukka and a chelsea. My boots will mostly be worn dressed down with a pair of jeans, but I’ll also want them to be worn with my wool slacks that are mostly dark brown tones. What must be taken into consideration when...

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

Here are a few Chelsea boots that have been suggested. These all appear to be in the same ball park in terms of price. What really separates these from each other, does it boil down to just color preference at this point or are there some within this lineup that actually stand out in terms of...

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

Thanks for the tips on skipping the mall brands, it's hard nowadays to determine a "mall brand" when I frequent them less and less :) Good point on skipping the buckles on boots, I fall in the camp of not being able to pull it off. I love my AE Lubbocks, so the buckles on my shoes with a 5'8"...

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

I'm looking for a good quality double monk or chelsea in suede. What would be considered a middle to upper tier product? I'm not necessarily after the Upper tier quality which would be north of $600, but somewhere in the $300 - $500 range. Other suggestions along with this list would be...
