    Thanks! I agree the hood being detachable, or at least hideable, would be strongly preferred. Edit - confirmed the hood detaches and it is also made of water repellent cotton. Going to be hard to pass up unless it doesn’t fit well.

    Went to local AD today (DC suburbs) to see if I could get a look at the white dial speedy. Manager said they had “already allocated the first 15 and it would be over a year before one is in the case”. I guess at least he was blunt
