Yohji, Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Looser Fit (Yohji Yamamoto Thread)

Hi. Not sure if this is the place to ask this or if there is somewhere else to ask. I'm wondering if the S'yte sub brand would be a good entry point into Yohji? I know it's designed YY's creative team but looking at the pricing on their site, it seems to be a bit more wallet friend. I've been...

Wondering if anybody tried on the wool blend relax tapered pants from the +J collection? Not sure if I should go with a small or medium. I typically fit into a medium or 31 for Uniqlo pants, but the relaxed waist measurement on the +J pants seems big at 33in.

I live in Canada so it should be US size small. Size M in Asia size?

I have not gotten a chance to wear it yet so can't say. It's definitely a keeper for me. I think it will be warm enough for up to -15 degree Celsius since I would likely layer underneath. Not sure if it will handle -20 C and below though.

Both pics I've posted are for the size small parka. I don't have pics of me in medium.

    The Uniqlo Thread

Not sure if this helps. I'm wearing the size small for the parka below. Under it, I'm wearing the +J stand collar oversized shirt (size small) and the UU wide fit tapered pants (size medium). I'm between small and medium for Uniqlo stuff, but I usually go medium. For reference, I'm 5ft 8in and...

Did the Canadian site get restocks? I don't think I saw any when checking in the morning for the past couple days. The last item I want is the cashmere chester coat.

Damn! That does look cool. This has swayed me to put it on my buy list. He also has another post of the stand collar white shirt and the chester coat. I'm thinking we'll see more postings tomorrow from Asia side.

For the +J suits, did they release lighter fabric for the spring/summer collection in the past? If that's the case, I might wait for that assuming they do have a spring/summer collection.

So with the release coming in the next couple days, what are the pieces that people are interested in? For me, I like the outerwear (chester coats, hybrid oversized parka, and hybrid oversized jacket). Other items on the list to check out are the shirts. Probably the belts as well. I wish I...

You can probably just go for the women's shirt and size up. I'm eyeing the chester coat in the women's collection which seems to have a belt whereas the men's version does not.

Found this on Youtube. Gives a little bit more of a teaser with some items worn by the models.

It looks like the belts and wool stole are listed under the women's section. With the higher pricing, hopefully, the quality would be higher than usual. For people who shops at Uniqlo, the $300+ CAD for a chester coat or $200 CAD for the other jackets might be higher than what we normally pay...
