I can think of 2 alternatives: 1. Use lighter browns, which over many usages will gradually darken and meld the colours together 2. What I would personally do is just go with dark brown, any irregularities will be even more patina! PS: Whichever you choose, don't forget to do the same to the...

I'm pretty bad at keeping my feet from furnitures, and these are not gonna hold against them. However, I found this to be very good at "patching bald spots" in mirror shines. Perhaps a blind study using MDO and BDC on 2 toes of the same pair is needed!

What my shoeshine guy told me was that Amiral is the "cheat" for mirror shine, and it DOES glide so smoothly over the leather, and the shine came much quicker than MDO. Another example:

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

Is your problem the fact that they seem to be worn (looks like in store), or are we returning shoes based on sole cosmetics now? Because I've seen aldens with worse soles than those proudly on display. I've even seen stitching missing the channels completely. The scuff on the heels looks like...

I just feel that the 30 m WR means that the crown guard is useless. The panerai equivalent of non-working pockets on women jeans.

I think the confusion is because you wrote blake-rapid when the shoes are indeed blake stitched. As far as I know Carmina never offered blake-rapid construction.

I'm pretty sure Meermin uses Ilcea museum, which are dyed through and not hand painted so there is less worry off rubbing it off

I don't buy the titanium=expensive argument. IWC are offering the Mark XVIII in titanium for practically the same price as the steel version.

@Carmina, I was looking at your longwings, and couldn't find this model. It's a longwing without a stitch in the highlighted area. Is it a different model number?

Love it or hate it, you just have to admire how Rolex always creates a discussion. Every watch discussion eventually will mention the crown. As much as I love Rolex, I can't deny that they have an inherent bling-ness to them. A quick google search: meanwhile the second most name dropped...

Can't unscramble scrambled eggs I'm afraid... best you cand do is probably brush everything so it looks more uniform.

It's not that clear from the pics, but is your complaint that your NUBUCK part is "hairy"? Because the whole purpose of the brass suede brush (or any suede product in general) is to raise the hair, so I'd say your nubuck is probably "suedified". Using more suede products is not gonna help.
