@Shoonoob Have you ever needed to ‘topcoat’ your dyes? I did use some resolene on some belts I did, but these shoes have nothing on them. So far no wear issues regarding the dye, but I haven’t been caught in the rain yet. FWIW, these were unfinished crust.

Thoughts on sealant after dyeing leather? Many leatherworkers suggest Resolene (or other acrylic based products), but it seems to me this would essentially be like adding a clear coat, and seal the pores of the leather?

If I may suggest, before you deal with dye. Saphir creams have a fairly strong pigment, and a little bit of black might be more than enough to blend that little spot?
