I really liked that video! I sent a pair of USA made Chippewa's there for a resole. I live in northeast Connecticut and there isn't any cobblers that I know of up here. Does nicks rebuild any of the other PNW boots?- Leveskie

Normally whites have 9 screws in the sole. 3 on each side and 3 in the toe. For some reason mine only had the 3 on each side. So I added 5 to the toe. I got these resoled in 2019 and it sucked when I peeled the toe back.- Leveskie

Has anyone ever peeled a honey vibram sole from the slip sole? I caught my boot on some concrete stairs and it pulled until the screws in the bottom of the sole stopped it. So I put some screws in the toe so it wouldnt flap- Leveskie

I thought they were honey vibram but the picture made the soles look whitish. Its too bad those have to go to work in a mechanics shop. And the extra cushion sure is nice for concrete. Sneakers kill my knees on concrete all day.- Leveskie

I'm glad it has worked for you. My grandfather was a marine and in vietnam. He contracted some sort of foot fungus while he was over there and his foot is all discolored and dead. Probably not the boots fault, but I certainly wouldn't want his boots if he sold them on ebay. Thats just my...- Leveskie

Im a 8.5C and have a small ankle. I think they put a 7.5 shaft on my boot so the lacing was a little farther apart. Whatever they did worked :)- Leveskie

They are breaking in nicely! Wore them for 4 hours on Wednesday, and then 12 hours yesturday. They are breaking in better than what I was expecting. Normally with whites it takes me a week before I can wear them all day.- Leveskie
