Who still wears a suit to work?
I work at a U.S. Embassy abroad and wear a full suit or sport coat and tie every day, as does nearly everyone else. With some exceptions based on region of posting, nearly everyone in the State Department maintains very traditional attire.- Leverandon

Just Got First Brooks Brothers Suit - 1818 Fitzgerald
I was actually at BB today picking up a few shirts and tried on the Fitzgerald (I'm looking to buy it in June during the big 40% off sale). That's why you go try stuff on and figure out what you like.. Maybe the Lewin suit is great, maybe it doesn't fit you, and maybe the super 110 fabric is unattractive in person. Go Fichte out what you like. Does TM Lewin have retail stores in the US or do they sell their stuff in department...- Leverandon

Tie patterns are an easy way to look dated. Sometimes it is obvious and sometimes it just makes an outfit look "off". They're all good enough. Ties are a personal thing. I like some of yours not at all, and some quite a lot, but that is personal. Many people will like the purple grenadine.
