This happens a few times every season, but generally the items are severely underpriced. However, they sell out in minutes so most people never see them, or the price is removed and it's labeled as sold out. Gilt Practice of Marking Items "Sold Out" Before Sale Starts
I'm done with Gilt. Aside from the various dubious/deceptive practices like marking items as sold out, inflating MSRP's, and not indicating which items are "made for gilt" junk, I had my own disappointing episode.
