Luxire Custom Clothing - Official Affiliate Thread

Luxire shirt and trousers, both linen. Very happy with both, though as I've mentioned before, need to get the trousers shortened.

Thank you. They are Viccel Cable Knitted Forest Green Wool Silk Socks. They are comfortable and quite long (even for over-the-calf). Uniqlo actually has a very similar color in cotton that I like as well; mid-calf but more durable than the wool/silk.

They're great, lightweight summer pants IMO

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

FWIW I got my Stoffa suede cleaned by Rave. They were professional and got out many of the stains, but the suede nap changed texture from soft and "luscious" (if that makes sense), to almost crinkly and stiff. I don't know if that's from the cleaning process or the protector they finished it...

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

I'm still transfixed by the videos. But yea, DR is better fit, but probably room for both depending on the variability of your trousers (ie DR seems to go better with slim cut). How was the sizing (your normal jacket size vs alpha size)?

@DonRaphael I used this cotton-linen fabric for a pair of "normal" trousers, but I think they'd be really good for the drawstring style. I'm planning to replace my existing pair with the drawstring when they wear out (eventually -- they are surprisingly hearty)...

Ah cool, thanks! So yours is "Green 1983"? Is the cloth too heavy for you to recommend generally, or just don't get with too low a rise?

Is the the cotton-linen wide stripes? Let me know how it wears after a few washes. Curiously, the fabric looks different on the luxire site now than it used to, maybe you got the last of the actually wide stripes.

    The Official Stoffa Thread

Quick public service announcement: Stoffa offers repairs. My trousers had worn through in the thighs, and I only caught it barely in time. I emailed Stoffa on the off-chance they could repair, since they have a sustainable philosophy. Sure enough, they had a smooth system for sending in and...
