Anyone Ever Purchase From Upper Shoes (France)?

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I didn't think this question warranted its own. Go to this link. What's up? John Lobb for 125€? I'm very confused.

errrr plugging your pores ain't a good idea. Wasn't there a James Bond girl who died becuase they painted her whole body in gold? Your body needs to breathe. Perspiration is your body's process of cooling off, becuase converts heat energy fro inside the body into salts and water, which...

No idea on suits in NZ but shoes might be better going Pediwear or Herring online - I think everyone here has had good experiences with both Herring and Pediwear - order online Friday night here and it will likely be on your front verandah by Tuesday. Awesome! I was just looking at Herring's...

I lived in Wellington for 7 years but unfortunately my sartorial interest was only sparked when I move to Australia. Others may be able to help you better if you give an idea of budget. Good luck! Cheers! I'm thinking maybe up to ~$400 for some shoes, $800 for a suit, NZD. Somewhat flexible...

Hi guys, I was sent over from this thread I made to ask if any of you know where to get good clothes in New Zealand, specifically Wellington. I'm mostly looking to get a good suit or two that fits well and won't break my budget. Thanks in advance!

Where to buy good clothes in Wellington, New Zealand

Anyone know of a good place to buy clothes in New Zealand, specifically Wellington? I'll be here for the next few months and need to get a suit, and maybe some shoes for work while I'm here. Looking for good quality stuff that will last a while, but don't want to waste my money unnecessarily.

    Too young to bang?

I was 17 as a freshman in college, and I fooled around with a junior who was 21, and even though by the xkcd skeeviness rule cited earlier we were technically in the clear, in hind sight I was not emotionally mature enough at time the to be doing anything with her. Part of that has to do with...

    Razor that minimizes razor bumps?

White guy here who suffers from razor bumps. If your beard is curly then sometimes the hairs turn and grow back into the skin. I switched to an old school single blade merkur. Good blades and good prep= no more razor bumps for me. The mach 3's and other razors shave so close that you end up...

Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)?

I would primarily be wearing them with jeans. Also, they look a lot less red than those, and more brown. Edit: btw they're AE Becker's.

    Is jogging enough?

Jogging grinds down your joints and your mind. Run or walk, but don't half-ass it. If you can't run for long distances, do intervals. I like doing "lightposts": run to one lightpost, walk to the next; repeat. It's awesome.

How can I manually distress my raw denim?

First, get BOILING water, and soak them for a good two hours, adding/replacing the water as frequently as you can to get it as hot as possible. This should get them nice and tight. Then, hang them up to dry. Either let them dry overnight, or wait till they stop dripping and get in them. Either...

    Unopened Cigar Shelf Life?

They should probably last a couple weeks, but they'll start drying out if he doesn't do any of the suggestions already listed here. If he's really in a pinch he could just get a plastic ziplock bag and either cut off a piece of a sponge or use paper towels or something else that will old water...
