What do yo think of this outfit?

They're the wrong trousers for that look. Should be pleats: no, cuffs: yes. And they could be a bit lighter, I'd agree.

    Long Scarves

What styles go well with pecs?

It is likely OP means OP's boyfriend's shoulders are heavily built which results in a rounded shoulder. Agree with Viktri. I've always believed that, same as suits/sportcoats, one should fit the shoulders, neck, and arm length, and have the body and sleeves tailored. It's just part of the...

Here's a pic. Provide style advice and win a prize.

Much better, yes. I will advocate the pocketsquare, however. Get a few basics from Kent Wang; they're not too expensive and if you decide you really will never wear them, put them in the B&S at $5.00 off.

What should I wear to my girlfriends design exhibition?

I attended my (then) girlfriend's senior show in jeans and a jacket, no tie. I ended up where I wanted to be, better than most but not better than the exhibitors. I believe this is the right approach.

Suit coat length versus sport coat length question

I don't know how common the 'sportcoats are shorter' idea is, but this isn't the first I've heard it.

Pocket Square Problem - suit chest pocket sewn shut!

You can ruin the drape of a jacket if you place bulky items in the pockets. I only use the inside 2 pockets to carry around a wallet (with a few keys) and my phone. Everything else goes in my bag. The only things ever in my pants pockets are my hands. Okay, I can see where this was a...

Pocket Square Problem - suit chest pocket sewn shut!

Don't open the side pockets, however. This will remove the temptation to use them. That is their intended purpose. Why wouldn't you use them?

    Surf clothing

I think a strong marketing campaign focusing on the English desire for sunny summer days and beaches. Being an Australian brand may help, as there is a definite connection between the two countries. I would push a strong contrast of traditional English leisure vs. the surf culture. Maybe pull...

Groomsmen Gift - Help Me Choose

Smoke MOP - I just like them better. On the same token have you thought about picking a differnt KW cuff link for each groomsman? It woudl be more personal, and there is no reason why they all have to wear mathcing links. +2 (one for each idea)

    Recommendations Anyone? (Please help)

Never seen Bones, but Supernatural is very Americana. I would recommend any of Levi's Trucker Jackets. $68 unlined $78 lined $89.50 slim cut

Here's a pic. Provide style advice and win a prize.

+1 on: white shirts, jeans. -1 on: solids only, BB non-iron, pocket squares, double cuffs. 0Δ on: contrast collars. ...and I'm a 27 year old Virginian. (sometimes region matters)

    Bespoke coat, suggestions

I've always seen it listed as velvet collar, as the lapels stop where the collar starts. Chesterfields have collars like that.

Ask A Question, Get An Answer... - Post All Quick Questions Here (Classic menswear)

Oh, here's another: I saw a Seinfeld the other day where Jerry's new suede jacket was destroyed by snow. I've never owned suede anything before, but was hoping to get some suede shoes - is it true that even a modest amount of moisture will make them spotty? If not, where does the idea come from...
