The Japanese Repro Clothing Thread (Real McCoys, Freewheelers, Etc.)

How does Real McCoys quality of their outerwear compare to lets say Manifattura Ceccarelli or Private White?

Fit Check Manifattura Ceccarelli Alaska Parka

Thank you for your feedback. I guess I just got used to wear SuitSupply and tight-fitting running wear.. Yeah, the quality is outstanding, and it's really a bargain. I guess Ceccarelli isn't as known yet and not as mainstream. You don't really find their products in the usual stores where...

Fit Check Manifattura Ceccarelli Alaska Parka

Hey guys, I would really appreciate any feedback on how the parka fits me. I feel like it should fit more snug in the bottom and around my hips, what do you think? In the pictures I am actually showing the space room there is before zipping the parka. If the parka is too big, what are the...

    Tellason Sheffield Cut Alternatives

So the only pair of Jeans that fits me well is the Tellason Sheffield in 31 (obviously the Tellason Ankara is fine as well). I have thick calves and therefore won't even get into most Jeans or Pants. I am looking for alternatives to be able to expand my collection and also be able to order some...

Skoaktiebolaget – Enzo Bonafé, Saint Crispin’s, Löf & Tung

I know this question is not shoe-related but my wife and I are thinking about going to either Oslo, Helsinki or Stockholm for 4-5 days in early January. @Skoaktiebolaget, you are probably biased but which city is the way to go in early January for a few days? We are mostly looking to enjoy the...

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

Nope. I emailed Betty and she said, she’s gonna look into it. Whatever that means, as that’s 5 days ago and I got no further information since then.

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

Did anyone receive a shipping confirmation for any order placed during the BF? I haven't and furthermore I am waiting for a refund for about 3-4 weeks already. It seems like their customer support got worse over the last year. Back then Betty used to manage it all and it worked sort of good. Now...

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

The length is fine and exactly what I need. Betty said Buger is sort of similar to Simpson but longer and more comfortable. However, Simpson fits me better in the heel in the same size as Buger but is slightly too short. If I sized down with Buger I think it would be too short. But perhaps it's...

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

Buger is completely different than Rain. As Carmina confirmed to me, Buger has close to the same instep as Simpson, but is just longer and wider. I own Buger and tried pretty much every Carmina last as well as G&G and CS. I have a low instep and narrow heel and Buger fits sort of good around my...

Gaziano & Girling Appreciation & Shoe Appreciation Thread (including reviews, purchases, pictures)

How can you size down almost one size? I mean you can handle the width I suppose as it will stretch but one size smaller also means that the shoes will be shorter, no?! So in my head if you fit into loafers size 10,5, then Boots in 11,5 are clearly too long and will have heel slippage. The...

It's the model from the outlet section, right? Are you sure it's on the Soller last? The last looks very sharp, I thought Soller is similar to Detroit, very much a round last?!

Do they hold better? What I mean is, I have to re-lace my shoes quite often during the day, mostly to non-perfect fit I suppose but I suspect it also has something to do with the shoelaces.

Yes, at least mine. I actually wouldn't buy one again, given the price. As I don't think it matter too much if they belt matches your shoe, unless it is pure business or a wedding. In that case I don't like wearing Cordovan in the first place.

Edward Green Appreciation: Pictures, Info, and Where to Buy

I actually wonder why even after moving the Forum to a new place there is still no possibility to search B&S for specific Brands or the location of the seller. I for example am in EU and therefore buying outside of it makes no sense because of customs so I don't bother with B&S anymore.

Skoaktiebolaget – Enzo Bonafé, Saint Crispin’s, Löf & Tung

While we are talking about sizing and fit. Those who own G&G and Carmina Simpson, what is the biggest difference fitting wise between them? My feet are very tricky, the right feet is slightly longer at the same time I have a narrow heel and very low instep. I suspect most are taking the same...
