Feels like there has been a change or two. The old Facebook page has gone, and they have a new one, with not much on it. I recall checking out the old one around the time I posted the previous message and thinking something was amiss. Almost like it had been hacked. Has anyone in HK or passing...

    Recent Sartorialist Looks

No updates here for years. I saw this and thought, not that bad, arms a little tight. Then I scrolled down. He could have a least had the bottom pressed correctly. And looking at the Satorialist site (first time in years), I saw this. I cannot see this look catching on, but who knows in 2023:

I wonder how they fared in HK during the last 3 years? I would assume orders were thin on the ground.

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

Thanks for the response. No, they fit well on the waist. I did have the waist taken in about 5 years ago. Did you ask because of the break in the trousers? Should they be taken up slightly?

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

I pulled this suit out of the closet. I had it made about ten years ago. I was a little bulkier then. I am more athletic now. Here are some stills from a video. Does it need any alterations? I am not wearing shoes here. Cheers.

I had a pair of boots (and suede loafers - blake stitched) made with the Dainite sole. I was disappointed to see that the stitching was a 'top stitch'. The likes of AE do the same so it is not exclusive. A cobbler told me this after I asked about being able to modify them with a channel: I...

Savile Row tailor fears overseas threat to rich tapestry of tradition

Is there a warning inside that jacket? Highly flammable, steer clear of open flames.

d̶r̶e̶s̶s̶ casual boot decisions are getting tough.

I think those boots are for winter and definitely not for formal wear or a suit as others have said. Regarding boots and suits. I quite like these boots Bob Dylan is wearing (can't find a better image). No idea what they are. They remind me of the wild west 120 years ago.

Civilization has collapsed what are you wearing?

OP, did you manage to clean/dry clean your clothes sufficiently? Although it sounds like a waste of time, I would have probably reported it, as the twat who did it will probably do it again.
