Saint Gregory Tailors in Naples: London Trunk show 14&15 June

Thanks for the input guys, great tio hear some first hand experience. On a slightly separate note, I'm going to have some samples of hand woven Harris Tweed from Urgha Loom Shed on hand. They make some beautiful single width fabrics which you can order for your tailor (or StG) to make up...

Saint Gregory Tailors in Naples: London Trunk show 14&15 June

Top one looks amazing. What cloth is that? Second one is a Shetland? I might ask them to make up my limited edition fox gun club.

Who still wears a suit to work?

I wore a Patagonia vest today (just to avoid the London chill) with a bespoke denim shirt, high waisted linen trousers and Carmina loafers. Other days it will be a canvassed suit, tie and loafers. Just depends.

Saint Gregory Tailors in Naples: London Trunk show 14&15 June

Admin approved (thanks Fok @LA Guy) Some of you might be familiar with Saint Gregory Tailors in Naples – as the name suggests they are a bespoke tailoring house from Naples. They’ve been doing a few trunk shows recently, primarily in Sweden. So you might have seen some of their photos on...

Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread

I just bought a length of the 11oz W.Bill linen in a nice tobacco brown shade (ref 60260). Will be made up into a shirt jacket/safari jacket. It really is very nice. But otherwise as suggested Baird McNutt is really good stuff if they have the shade that you are after. I have their swatch book...

Thanks, that might work. And I emailed them a while ago, but of course they didn't get back to me. I'll try again.

Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread

Could anybody be kind enough to recommend a book or a source that has Donegals in the 8/9 or 10oz ballpark? SherryTweed at 11oz and W.Bill at 15oz is too heavy unfortunately.

Goldman Sachs relaxes dress code for all employees

I never understand what people are to wear instead in a work environment such as Goldmans? A suit without a tie looks pretty poor. And if you go as far as wearing a suit, you might as well wear a tie. Chinos and a shirt? Looks too far on the casual scale for me.

The Official Drake's London Appreciation Thread

Thank guys. One if the reasons we started was that I personally couldn't find many 9cm ties in the UK. Interesting discussion...
