I'm in the home stretch for a MTO VOAK thorpe. Went with double wensum - a first for me. These are going to be fairly casual/city wear and tear bad weather boots for me so I'm hoping the double wensum will work. I went back and forth over single vs double. I was just thinking about how I missed the "old days" when Skoak had all those great GG and EG lineups and MTO's. I've definitely slowed by shoe purchasing since then, but only because I'm hesitant to start over learning new brands (well other than the St C and EB that I routinely purchase : )...- Hermitize

FWIW, I have the EB black/peccary balmoral. I have to admit it was a bit of an impulse buy as I'm probably the LEAST adventuresome shoe person on SF. But I've really enjoyed them. I can understand how some would be turned off, but the peccary really is comfortable and makes for a different...- Hermitize
