    LOAKE APPRECIATION THREAD

Hello, ended up getting the Pimlico dark brown in leather. What colour Saphir polish is recommended? Some say the dark brown is very dark.

    LOAKE APPRECIATION THREAD

Probably 2 months until it went away. I'd just treat that area with renovateur or a bit of dubbin to just soften it.

    LOAKE APPRECIATION THREAD

It was my right ankle bone and only hurt at a particular angle. This was my first pair of loakes which I worn everyday (!) and used low quality wax.

    LOAKE APPRECIATION THREAD

I had a similar problem. Ended up going away when the leather softened (months). I recommend using a leather conditioner (e.g. Saphir Renovateur) to speed it up. Which loakes are they out of interest? Badmintons?

    LOAKE APPRECIATION THREAD

Hi – wanted to get some advice here. So I picked up the Heston’s and I’ve noticed the stitching is very poor in comparison to my other Loakes I have. Additionally, I’ve spotted streaking with the colour when I first got these. I’ve applied some renomat and conditioned them which has helped but...

    LOAKE APPRECIATION THREAD

Comparison of Loake Ledbury and Heston. Also, a bit disappointed with the finish on the Heston. Something I should be worried about?

    LOAKE APPRECIATION THREAD

Great thanks. That's the Ledbury in brown. They do seem lighter than the website photo but Saphir medium brown seems to match it well. As for the furniture, it was a gift from my girlfriend and she won't tell me where it's from.

    LOAKE APPRECIATION THREAD

Hi, Fan of the Loake 1880 range. Currently have the Heston in black and Mahogany (not brown), Ledbury black and brown, Aldwych and the Funnelweb. Haven't worn the Aldwych yet as I'm not sure about the last (Capital) as I prefer the Claridge. Does anyone know the exact difference as I'm...
