Anyone else tired of buying expensive jeans that don't fit?
I have bought three pair of jeans online that don't fit due to the seller not giving me the proper actual measurements. The last pair was a sweet pair of Lee 101B's with the half selvage. the thing i don't like is that i sweat like a farm animal in them in the summer. which may be the odors people are smelling is themselves as sweating pigs. the advantage of them though is that they dry quick and are never wrinkled.- giantreptile

rag and bone definitely tapped into that look you describe. either way, it seems a hell of a lot smarter to go with r&b, 5ep, etc. over a gilded age. and if you want to spend the money for gilded age, might as well go with 45rpm. i bought that oxford they offer on the r by 45rpm website...- giantreptile

the 45 rpm jomon is natural indigo, though not affordable at about 800. both the edo ai and the hawaii have a natural indigo model, which is within reach for around 350-400. samurai, and i think pure blue, has one too, which might be found at blue in green.- giantreptile

i think this is the case where one can see the allure of raw denim. buying pre-distressed makes it impossible to have wear that exactly matches your body. furthermore, your own wear marks superimposes onto the pre-distressed marks, creating a bit of a weird effect, especially with the whiskers.- giantreptile
