    Just an update. I ended up ordering 2 Leo & Romanos ties (unlined/untipped 7 folds from italy) because the price seemed reasonable and I had never ordered from them before.     Hey, Im just curious what the average SF member thinks about this. Comment the max you'd pay for shoes, ties, and shirts if you want as well! Id personally spend up to $500 on shoes, $300 on a shirt, and $300 on a tie.

    I am a finance guy. I agree the Hermes brand is the defacto standard but I don't want to sacrifice actual quality for brand recognition. Both would be a plus though.
