Probably not. But like all things clothes, a size 31 for one brand might be bigger than a 31 in another. Only way to know for sure is to try them on -- which I admit is a pain.- EricBlackmann

Sneakers are quite versatile and I have heard good things about Converse Jack Purcell and COS. For Desert Boots I'd go with Clark's, I've owned my current pair for going on six years and they only look better with time.
