٭٭٭ No Man Walks Alone - Official Affiliate Thread ٭٭٭ (a.k.a. I shouldn't have slept on it)

It’s been a long time, life and what not. But I got photographed at an event today and realized, outside of the hoodie and sneakers, I was head to toe NMWA. Pictured: GRP, Norwegian Rain, and Big John. Not pictured: Farnese, and Merz socks. Hope life is treating everyone well.

That shade looked off with those swatches to my eye too and I wear green trousers often.

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

I like that larger model much better on the strap for some reason. Great choice on the color too. The medium looks great on bracelet, but I wasn't loving the larger version on the bracelet for some reason. So who started the whole car behind the watch thing? I might start having to get my...

I had to build some suspense. After the problem with the case size on the Tudor I was all in on the 214270, but I like to be thorough and also it’s nice to get a chance to try things you might not normally consider.

@Andy57 congrats. I like the Skydweller a lot, would prefer it if he 2nd time zone display didn’t show the full 24 hour ring, and was a smaller window instead, but I still think it’s a really cool presentation of the complication. Congrats on the Santos as well. I did some additional watch...

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

I was also doing really dumb stuff as the wagers were increasing too, it's definitely a user error more than the watch; though I have a suspicion the ExI would have been fine in the same situation. Or I could just get an Richard Mille; if it can handle Bubba's swing speeds and shot shaping, it...

Yes, I don't wear a watch when I golf ever (which is fairly infrequently anymore) mostly because it's not comfortable to do so. We waited for a bay at the bar and drank, got in to a bay and drank some more while talking crap to each other, and then hit balls on occasion. Because we were rotating...

Thanks, Dino. The journey was half the fun and I also tried on a bunch of Journes, because, well, grails. I'm looking forward to abuse this guy over the years.

Now that I've seen the other posts today after I had posted, I no longer feel any remorse for making people scroll through my wall of text to find out what I ended up purchasing.

The following contains my personal, possibly negative, opinions on watches you may like so please don't read this as anything more than how I feel about the watches for me, on my wrist. So with that out of the way, here's the journey to my new watch: [/spoiler]

I don't really like the Tangente case/lug style anyway, but you put that type of date function on a Metro and I'd probably buy it immediately. I'm just not a date window guy for the most part.

Really love the way NOMOS has updated the date function on the Tangente (don't love the addition of neomatik on the dial). As someone who, in general, dislikes date windows, this is a very nice compromise.
