    1969 Gap "Premium Denim"

This is a brand new line that's just debuting this week. I think they had a pseudo-"premium" attempt last year, but the jeans didn't really change at all. This is supposed to be a heavy shift, though I haven't seen them or tried them on.

    1969 Gap "Premium Denim"

Apparently Gap's new line of premium denim debuts today, trying to compete with the big fashion brands. http://www.latimes.com/business/la-f...tory?track=rss Has anyone seen these yet? They apparently even had a big launch party. I used to wear Gap in my early twenties, and then joined the...

    Waxes, pomades, paste, grooming cream...

My hair stylist, who I've had for 10 years and is leaving the business (argh!) said I wasted my money on the Aveda, and I would be happy with American Crew Fiber, which costs about 1/3. This was interesting to me, because he works at a fancy Beverly Hills salon, where you expect them to hawk...

    Waxes, pomades, paste, grooming cream...

Thanks hboogz! I realized after getting home that it's the grooming clay I was convinced to buy. How much do you use on your hair at a given time? I'm nearing haircut time, but I've been trying to a dime-sized portion rubbed into my hands, but that hasn't seemed to give me the requisite hold...

    Waxes, pomades, paste, grooming cream...

I've used the same Aveda Control Stick for the past 10 years. And I walk into the salon that I used to go to (I left after my stylist did!) that's carried it for years, and only learned now that it's not being produced anymore. So they convinced me to buy this...

I didn't get into Harvard, but I can still wear 'Harvard Yard'!

None of this seems right to me. Individually, some pieces seem interesting, but overall... ? Uh, no thanks.
