    silly question: what is the difference between "Aviator" & "Navigator" glass frames?

    Aviators are the classic tear drop shape that I'm sure we have all seen. Navigators are a rectangular version of the aviator style. So in most cases you still have the double bridge and "military feel" that you find in aviators.

    Buying glasses frames online - how difficult is it for an optician to cut the lenses?

    An optician will be able to fit lenses into any frame as long as it isnt in horrible condition. An optician uses one of two machines to put lenses into a frame. One is a pattern edger, where he will need to make a pattern himself from either the demo lenses found in the frame or your old lenses...

    Tom Ford Metal Sunglasses have nickel in them???? Quality?

    I doubt there is any nickel in the metal. Though Marcolin makes Kenneth Cole and Tom Ford, the qulality is completly different. All the major sunglass companies (Luxottica, Safilo, etc) make high quliaty lines and low quality lines.
