I have had similar experiences with JM Weston 180s: They are rather tough to break in (almost all JM Weston shoes are to me for that matter). I have a high instep and I have an issue which seems to be similar to that you describe. But once broken in, they are some of my most comfortable...- cypi2

All feet are different but may be this can help. the last and sizes below work for me: GG TG73: UK 11.5 E or UK 11 F fit equally well EG 82: UK 11 E CJ 341: UK 10.5 E (Slightly tight at first, OK once broken in) A.M Chisel 2: UK 11 F (No Carmina shoes on rain last)- cypi2

Below are my preferences on the three items on which there seems to be no consensus yet. Contrast: I’d definitely prefer with the pin grain contrast if the shoes came in a lighter shade of brown.
