CANOE CLUB - Official Affiliate Thread

Mine have opened up a bit too, still not at the point of using the second cinch, but definitely much more comfortable. Also not enough to justify sizing up imo. Mine also didn’t come in at all in the waist with a wash, but I washed before much chance for them to stretch.

CANOE CLUB - Official Affiliate Thread

I washed mine. Fit perfectly out of the box. Didn’t experience any shrinkage with woolite, a cotton cycle with warm water (tag said mild detergent, warm water, line) and a hang dry. imo both pieces colors got better with a wash. Had less of the inky blue color, and processing looks better...

    Cottle

I haven’t stayed updated with the Japanese stores pricing, but displaying that jacket in yen even shows a price difference compared to usd in the world webstore. I checked a receipt for denim I bought a year ago, and the price on the us web store has remained the same in usd for that pair of...

    Cottle

That is part of the fun with cottle. Most tops allow you to size down or up. I have that jacket in the kakishibu in a 2 at 6’0 150 lbs. I don’t even bother considering measurements but length and sleeve length purchasing tops. Some pieces have elongated sleeve length (the above jacket included)...

Show us how you roll in Engineered Garments

This is helpful. I am just wondering what is a more dressy alternative to the Bedford, and whether a loiter would be worth the investment.

Show us how you roll in Engineered Garments

I know this might be a little bit of a loaded question, but can anybody rank eg's blazer type jacket offerings from least dressy to most? I have a bedford and NB, but am thinking about getting one to wear to occasions that are slightly more dressy.

    Orslow

Th This all makes sense, I see a lot of people even sites that usually do hand measurements just listing the waist as 30. Maybe they are implying these will fit you if your waist measures thirty as opposed to the 31 -31.5 inch measurement of the garment itself in a size 1

    Orslow

Does anyone know if orslow altered the cut of the 107 in recent seasons? I have a slightly (~2 years ago) pair of 107s, that measure 31.5 inch waist. Stretch hasn't been the culprit, as I measured them when I got them and they were again a 31.5 inch waist. All the measurements for the current...

*** Visvim thread: Dissertation on a Japanese Holy Spirit ***

Oh what a shame. Mine are in the mail. I wonder if they will take a return/ pay for return shipping as they are marked as men’s. I’ll check on them when they arrive, and if they are women’s see if they fit. I wear a 7.5 us men’s, and they seem like adjustable shoes.

    45rpm

Thinking of grabbing some of my first pieces from 45. Do you guys find the measurements on the official sites are accurate? Just wondering because I see differing measurements on the same item on the US and Japanese web-store. Must be changing the dimensions based on market. Probably thinking I...

    Cottle

We are working within a range and I haven't gotten a final quote. I will say the range is more than the piece itself. I bet you could do a repair on a smaller budget. I asked for precious cloth and hand stitched repairs. It seems the price is in line with the difference between the craftsman...

    Cottle

I am actually in the process of having some patchwork done on a zen loan shirt. I don't know if it's the norm, but Toshi is doing the repair work. Here is a photo he sent me of various sashiko stitches he does for repairs on a swatch. Hope it is helpful.

    Cottle

Earth wall looks amazing. I too got a pouch with my delivery today. I would have bought that blanket if I don’t have a terrible wool allergy. Even the pouch set it off. I wonder if they’ll use some of the new earth wall silhouettes in the uniform for life fabrications. I’d kill for that blanket...
