Linen Pants instead of Shorts

Where do people hear some of this crap?

Need a Fit Critique
IMHO, I think you might be wearing your jeans a little higher than its supposed to which might explain the weird waist line. And looks like your belt is tied too tight (correct me if I'm wrong).
