Ah, rereading the note from Bookster, the only functional email address now is : [email protected]

    Bookster Customer Service

By the way, it would appear there's a good chance that Bookster used www.Bespokemears.co.uk as their tailors in case anyone thinks their order might be with them. My own view is that they don't look like the sort of people that tinker around with a jacket or waistcoat for six months so they may...

    Bookster Customer Service

There is Peter King's email, which off the top of my head is [email protected], but I wonder whether he will be answering anything just right now? My sympathies to you folks who paid up front via debit cards or Paypal, I'd have been in an unsecured position too if I hadn't complained on...

Ah, didn't see the preceding posts... Bookster use a variety of tailors I understand - you'd have to track down which one - assuming they've even started your jacket yet - after all, they had my order for 32 weeks but I expect didn't even start on it until the 30 week mark.

Bookster has gone bust. It was what I feared - given the huge wait entailed in getting my order through. Now I'm left with a jacket that is kind of servicable but doesn't fit preoperly... They blame a number of angry customers for their demsie - I guess I may well have been one of them -...

PS: It appears Bookster do have a webpage asking for infornation about posture, shoulder type etc. I don't recall seeing this when I ordered in 2012 so it may be new - but wouldn't have known what sort of shoulders I had anyway (and still don't)!

Well I promised to let folks know how it worked out. At 28 weeks from ordering I received my moleskin trousers. These are fine. A good fit, fairly heavyweight material, just as I imagined really. I liked the diagonal fabric strap with a button at the end that you fasten inside the fly area...

Rodaman, I think you mean 'Woe is me', but I understand the sentiments ;0) Ravn, I can't recommend another online tweed tailor but there is quite a droll magazine (bimonthly) here in the UK called 'The Chap', advising 'chaps' what to wear, how to smoke a pipe, whether to wear a cravat to a...

rodaman, I can't say exactly what is happening at Bookster. I like to believe, that if you wait long enough, you do eventually get what you ordered. How long is that though? I mean, over six months just seems entirely unreasonable to me. There are those, on other forums (AskAndyAboutClothes is...

    Bookster Customer Service

I think I'll wade in here: I am English and live in England. I thought it was about time I had that tweed hacking jacket and pair of moleskin trousers I had been wanting for a while so last year, mid November, I ordered one of each from Bookster. Nothing tricky... I received confirmations in...
