Yeah, I ordered a Skye 3 a few weeks ago and the 335 was too narrow, pinching my little toe so that didn't work. The same size - 8.5 - on an Islay is just barely acceptable. I was hoping this "Harry" would be a little bit wider!- Carson

Aha, I see, so what you're implying is that the 228 is often seen in an E width but for this special makeup, they used the 228 in a wider F fitting, which would make it more functionally generous that than a standard Islay.- Carson

It's odd that this stockist suggests that their 228 version of the Islay (which they call the "Harry") is a more generous fit than the standard Islay, whereas it seems that the 365 is a more generous last than the 228. Hey guys - how does the 228 last differ from the 365? I've found a stockist that has an Islay built on a 228 last, and I'm trying to get a sense of whether this would be a more generous fitting than the typical Islay since I have a wider forefoot. Thanks in advance.- Carson

They told me they were a "floor model" that was obviously worn around the shop improperly. The irony is in their response, while claiming them to still be in "new condition," they assured me that I wouldn't be penalized when I return them because their current condition violates their strict...- Carson
